The 2008 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremonies was held at Mt. Notre Dame's Winter Sports Banquet on March 12, 2008, at Receptions Banquet Hall, Fairfield, Ohio.  The inductees for this year's Hall of Fame were Maura Meyer Day '74 and Ronald Rieman.

Established in 2000, the Mount Notre Dame High School Athletic Hall of Fame as a means of recognizing MND alumnae who exemplified the spirit of MND athletics while at MND as well as during their post-secondary athletic career. The following criteria shall be used to consider candidates for the hall:

An MND graduate who has graduated at least seven years prior to the current year.

A student athlete who achieved sports prominence while attending MND.

A student athlete who has continued to represent the mission and philosophy of MND after graduation.

or
An individual who has made significant contribution to the MND athletic program at least seven years ago. This individual may be an administrator, coach, parent, or friend.
