The goal of the Mount Notre Dame High School Guidance Department is to prepare students to face the challenges of the 21st century. The counselors strive to help each student understand herself, discover her abilities, and make good decisions in personal, educational, and vocational areas. 

The counselors seek to know each student as an individual with her own special combination of skills, needs, values, hopes, and dreams. Through individual conferences, the counselor listens and encourages each young woman to balance her growing need for independence with the demands of school, family, and friends. 

Each new student entering Mount Notre Dame is special, and the guidance counselors look forward to meeting and getting to know each and every one!
