Mount Notre Dame to Host “Oprah Favorite,” Amilya Antonetti’s Broken Cookie Workshop

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, Mount Notre Dame will host nationally renowned speaker and Oprah Favorite, Amilya Antonetti at Xavier University’s Schiff Family Conference Center.  Antonetti will present her Broken Cookie Workshop to Cincinnati women of all ages.  The Broken Cookie Workshop is part of a lifestyle series of books by Ms. Antonetti.  It is a customized, two-hour workshop for women that addresses many of the major topics facing them today.  It is a life-changing experience with proven tips and tools, arming women and girls with the skills to live a life by design and choice, rather than the one handed to them.

Ms. Antonetti is the founder of Soapworks, a best-selling author and television personality who has been regarded as “one of the most inspirational entrepreneurs of the 20th Century.”   Antonetti feels called to share the secrets of her success with other women in order to empower them to achieve their own greatness, both personally and professionally.  With her humor and compassion, Amilya gently nudges women to believe that they can fulfill their dreams and live the life they deserve.

Antonetti met MND President Sr. Rita Sturwold, SNDdeN and Director of Advancement Sparkle Worley at the Athena Awards in Cincinnati last year, where she gave the keynote address.  She felt a special bond with Mount Notre Dame and its mission of empowering young women.  “Mount Notre Dame High School’s mission is absolutely aligned with mine – empowering young women.  It gives me such pleasure to pass along what I have learned on my journey to do my part for the next generation of women.”

MND’s Director of Advancement, Mrs. Sparkle Worley, of West Chester was very eager to bring Amilya’s message to the women of Cincinnati, but especially to young women.  “Several MND students had the opportunity to meet Amilya when she visited Cincinnati last fall.  The energy in the room was electric and the girls couldn’t stop talking about the impact Amilya’s talk had on them. “

This event is open to women of all ages in the metro area.  The cost for the workshop, networking opportunities and a continental breakfast is $30 for adults and $10 for students.  Sponsorship opportunities are also available.  For more information on registration or sponsorships, please contact Mount Notre Dame’s Director of Marketing and Communications Jenn Sennett at 513.821.3044 ext. 164 or jsennett@mndhs.org or visit www.mndhs.org.
