Fall Into Cash Raffle

Grandparents’ Appreciation Day
This day is designed to celebrate our grandparents and their relationship with their MND granddaughters. Volunteers are needed to help set up (Friday, September 26, 2008) for this special day and to serve refreshments, Sunday, September 27, 2009. Girlfriends and Giggles

Annual Phone-A-Thon
Volunteers are needed to give only one evening to call member of the MND community (parents, alum, friends) during October. Jingle Bells and Ho! Ho! Ho! - It's Christmas Time Again!

Santa's making an early stop at MND to check his list of good girls and boys! On December 5 we will hold our Lunch with Santa. This is a sell-out event and we need 100 students and 15 adult volunteers to assist during the event on Saturday and Friday after school setting up. We will have balloon sculpting, clowns, a magician, face painting, games and crafts for everyone and new this year, live nativity animals outside and a visit with 'the big guy.' Grande Gala
This event will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Mount Notre Dame High School but volunteer opportunities start as early as September. Many volunteers are needed to continue to make this evening one of MND’s most successful fund-raising efforts. Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Chair/Co-Chair a committee
Catalog (write copy, data entry, distribute catalog)
Clean-Up (Help with clean-up the day after the auction)
Donor Solicitation (visit your local business establishment and collect donations to be auctioned at the Gala)
Gift Pick-Up (gather donated items from area businesses in your area of town or wherever needed)
Tuition Raffle (help distribute and sells raffle tickets)
Decorations (assist with making the decorations and setting up for the auction. Decoration workshops are every Saturday during January and February)
Donor Follow-Up (make follow-up calls to area businesses after solicitation letters have been sent)
Gift Gathering Party (host a party at your house or MND to help gather donations that will be auctioned at the Gala)
Table Captain (be a table host the evening of the gala)
Sponsorship (follow-up with area businesses that have been sent letters requesting sponsorships – who do you know?)
Set-Up (Gentlemen welcome! Many are needed to set-up.)
Silent Auction (Saturday, March 7, 2009 during a two-hour shift or the entire evening.)

Walk-A-Thon
Volunteers are needed to help reconcile monies turned-in by students. It will require approximately 2 hours of time and we begin at 8:30 a.m. On the day of the walk, volunteers will be needed to work the check-points and as crossing guards. After-Prom
Volunteers are needed to help with the different committees, i.e. decorations, publicity, prizes, food, chaperones, fundraising, etc. Volunteers would work with the chairperson of each committee in planning the event.
