Daily Prayer: Student volunteers from all four classes lead the student body in morning prayer. Prayers are often dedicated to some need in the community
Communion: Specially commissioned students conduct a Scripture and Communion service every day immediately before school for the benefit of students and staff who wish to attend

Reconciliation: During Advent and Lent, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available within the context of Religion class services
Prayer Services: Religion classes, classes from other academic departments, and athletic teams may plan and celebrate prayer services in chapel for special occasions. All-school prayer services enable the student body to celebrate feasts and seasons on occasions
Mass: Several all-school Masses, retreat Masses, and special occasion Masses are celebrated each year, including Mass on every holy day of obligation when school is in session.
Grace Group: A group of students who have lost a parent or a sibling meets 5 or 6 times a year to share lunch. Certified grief counselors are present to remember with them and to celebrate the lives of their deceased loved ones.
Shantytown: Open to all grade levels, MND participates in the city-wide Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky High School Shantytown in mid-October. While MND has activities at school that focus on homelessness awareness and advocacy, students also do service in Over-the-Rhine and gather with students from across the city on a Saturday afternoon to hear speakers from several Cincinnati non-profits that work with people who are homeless.
