Go to MND – Earn College Credit

In addition to our superior Advanced Placement Program, MND is pleased to offer five Dual Credit opportunities. Dual credit is a way to earn high school and college credit at the same time. Doing so may potentially cut college tuition costs. Graduates of MND may enter college with sophomore status due to the combination of Advanced Placement and dual credits.

These opportunities are possible because of special agreements between MND and local colleges and universities. During the process, the university or college approves MND’s curriculum and instructor, allowing the institution to award college credit* for these courses.

* Participation in the Dual Credit opportunities requires a nominal fee (usually between $135-$200), which is paid directly to the appropriate college or university. This fee allows the college to set up a student transcript in their system. Students will also gain access to specific university or college resources, such as the library. To receive college credit, each institution will establish grade criteria. Once credit is earned, students may request a transcript and send it to other college or universities.
