A Solid Foundation for Pursuing Higher Education
The Mount Notre Dame diploma represents a solid foundation in curriculum at the College Preparatory, Honors, and/or Advanced Placement levels.
To earn a diploma from Mount Notre Dame, a student must...
Earn a minimum of 23 credits as follows:
- 4 credits in Religion
- 4 credits in English
- 4 credits in Mathematics
- 3 credits in Science (1 in Life Science and 1 in Physical Science)
- 3.5 credits in Social Studies (including Economics)
- 2 credits in Foreign Language
- 1 credit in Performing and/or Visual Arts
- 0.5 credit in Health
- 0.5 credit in Information Technology
- 0.5 credit in Physical Education
Pass the five sections of the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT) in these subjects:
- English
- Mathematics
- Reading
- Science
- Social Studies
Beginning with the Class of 2012, a high school senior will participate in a student-led service project and successfully present this project to the community as part of her MAP journey towards empowerment.
