Excellent Guidance Every Step Along the Way

The goal of Mount Notre Dame’s College Guidance Department is to prepare students to face the challenges of the 21st century. The counselors give each student the tools to understand herself, discover her abilities and make sound educational, personal and career-path decisions.  

The counselors at Mount Notre Dame have the same students all four years, and seek to know each student as an individual, with her own special combination of goals, skills, values, hopes and dreams. Through individual conferences, the counselor listens and encourages each young woman to balance her educational goals and growing need for independence with the demands of school, family and friends.  

Each new student entering Mount Notre Dame is special, and the guidance counselors look forward to meeting and getting to know each and every one!
