Scholarships for Current Sophomores
Liz Marksteiner ’04 Memorial Scholarship
- $1,000 non-renewable scholarship for junior year
- Must be a sophomore in good standing
- Complete an application process
- Submit two essays handwritten or typed and double-spaced

The Mount Notre Dame Academy Scholarship
- $1,000 non-renewable scholarship
- Must be a niece, grandniece, great granddaughter, or granddaughter of a Mount Notre Dame Academy graduate (1860-1959)
- Must be involved in extra-curricular activities and/or volunteerism within her community
- Must exhibit a spirit of cooperation within her school community
- Financial need is a consideration

The Notre Dame Alumnae Service Award
- $500 non-renewable scholarship
- Must be a daughter or granddaughter of an alumna of a Notre Dame de Namur School in Ohio. (St. Joseph’s, Columbus; Notre Dame, Hamilton; Julienne, Dayton; The Summit, Cincinnati; or Mount Notre Dame Academy, Cincinnati)
- Must demonstrate an outstanding spirit of service in her school, parish, and/or civic community

The Regina Doyle Performing Arts Scholarship
- Open to current freshmen, sophomores and juniors
- Non-renewable scholarship
- Must demonstrate academic effort.
- Must possess Christian values and leadership
- Must be able to entertain the residents at an assigned senior citizens care facility one hour per month

St. Thérèse de Lisieux Endowed Scholarship
- Non-renewable scholarship
- Must exemplify Christian service to others
- Must be a student in good standing (no disciplinary record)
- Must have achieved at least 2nd honors each quarter of enrollment at MND
- Must submit a typewritten, double-spaced, one-page essay (see application)
- A follow-up thank you must be written to the originator of the scholarship

Julie Costello ’97 Memorial Scholarship
- Non-renewable scholarship
- Must be a student athlete
- Must have maintained honor roll status
- Must be a student in good standing
- Must submit a typewritten double-spaced essay

Sister Julie Jarvis, SNDdeN Math & Science Scholarship
- Non-renewable scholarship
- Must have maintained second honor status while enrolled at MND
- Must have maintained 1st honors in all math and science courses that have been taken
- Financial need will be considered but not necessarily the determining factor in selecting the recipient
- Must submit a typewritten double-spaced essay
- Must submit at least one letter of recommendation from a math or science teacher

The Peter W. Bushelman Endowed Scholarship
- Non-renewable scholarship
- Must be a member of the sophomore or junior class
- Demonstrates financial need
- Be a student in good standing
- Demonstrate a good academic record
- Preference will be given to a graduate of a Catholic inner city school as determined by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Other applicants will be considered who meet this criteria
- Demonstrates Christian values
- Must submit a typewritten and double-spaced essay stating why you value attending MND, the goals you have for your life and how the education you are receiving is preparing you for that life

- Non-renewable scholarship
