Meet the coaches 

Joe Burke

Coach Burke will enter his third year (13th overall in the program) as the MND Head Volleyball Coach during the 2011/12 season. Joe is a graduate of Moeller High School, where he was on Outside Hitter on Moeller's first State Championship Volleyball Team. Joe then went on to play at Miami University in Oxford, and graduated with a degree in Management Information Systems.

Joe started coaching at MND during the 1998 season, where he was the Assistant Freshman Coach, and has continued to coach at every level throughout the program. The Cougars have won four Championships since Joe has been involved in the program ('98, '99, '00, '06). In addition to MND, Joe is also the Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach at Moeller High School, where he has coached for 10 years.

Joe lives in Oakley with his wife, Blair, and their two dogs, Macey and Joey. Joe and Blair are eagerly awaiting their first child who is expected in June of 2011. He is the son of Tom and Ellen Burke, and his sister Jennifer played on the '98, '99, and '00 MND State Championship teams.
