Providing a challenging, college-preparatory curriculum for young women over three centuries.
Guidance & College Counseling
A Journey to Success
The Road to College is a partnership between MND, our students and their parents that begins on the first day of a student’s freshman year. MND’s systematic, yet personalized approach ensures that each student arrives at the best destination for her.
Mount Notre Dame has four full-time counselors that remain with their students all four years of their high school journey. This allows the counselors to really get to know each student as an individual – an individual with her own special combination of goals, skills, values, hopes and dreams. Through one-on-one conferences, the counselors listen and encourage each young woman to balance her educational goals (both in high school and beyond) and growing need for independence with the demands of school, family and friends. MND also has a testing coordinator that helps our young women navigate through the ACT, SAT and other standardized tests.
It’s your journey to success, but we’ll walk with you every step of the way!
