Guides are Individual Mentors

MND's MAP Guides are teachers, administrators and professional staff who have participated in an extensive training process. The MAP Guide serves as the student's individual mentor. The Guide is not only another resource for the student as she transitions into high school, but is also walking the first year of the high school journey with her and her family to ensure she is achieving her goals.

Mount Notre Dame is a top-notch college prepartory high school, known not only for our strong academic programs, but also for our warm and supportive environment. The MAP Program affirms MND's commitment to ensure each and every student is celebrated for the individual that she is.

"After meeting my spectacular MAP Guide, Mrs. Santel, I was less stressed and ready to take on new challenges.  The MAP Program makes you feel more comfortable with the transition to high school because here, at MND, someone is always looking out for you."

"The MAP Program has encouraged our daughters to set goals early in their freshman year and the Guides helped them to build confidence, allowing them to achieve those goals.  This has set the foundation for them to truly leave MND as empowered women who are able to take on all of life's challenges."
