Mount Notre Dame
Providing a challenging, college-preparatory curriculum for young women over three centuries.
Reach for the Stars
Mentoring to Help Build Character
Mount Notre Dame students work with girls in junior high and middle school grades at Reading Middle School, St. Nicholas Academy, and Sts. Peter and Paul in Reading. The focus on leadership and character building activities. Themes include setting goals, learning manners, developing healthy habits (eating & fitness), dealing with peer pressure, and friendship.
There are 2 separate programs each year - one each semester.
The girls meet twice a week for six weeks (10 sessions total) in each session. MND volunteers can commit to either semester or both. Volunteers must participate in at least 6 sessions.
See Mrs. Brinkmann if you'd like to be a part of this wonderful program, and help young girls learn how to develop character. (You might just learn something in the process, too!)
