Student Government
Student Government is a great way to represent your fellow classmates. Each homeroom is represented by at least one delegate. Membership is by application and election. Student government organizes class and staff appreciation days, the all-school Fall Dance, Father-Daughter Dance, Mother-Daughter Brunch, Jeans Day and Spirit Week. 

Leadership Council
This group is made up of the presidents of all school organizations and classes. It serves as a clearing house for student activities and fundraisers. It also provides leadership for Advancement Office projects, presents leadership training sessions for students who wish to be eligible to run for office and together, with moderators, advise the administration on issues related to student life.

Adopt-a-Sister
This time-honored MND program matches MND students with retired Sisters of Notre Dame deNamur who live at the convent next to the school. Students and their “Sisters” meet a couple of times each month to chat, share and make a new friend. Membership is by application.

Ambassadors
Mount Notre Dame Ambassadors represent our school at functions, both in-school and out-of-school. The Ambassadors also serve as companions for students interested in transferring to MND. Membership is by application for sophomores, juniors and seniors or appointment by the school administration.

Art Club
This group provides the opportunity for students to have hands-on experience exploring art forms beyond those covered in the usual high school curriculum. Other possibilities include using art in a service component and visiting community-sponsored art centers.

Big/Little Sister Programs Learn more >>
This program pairs juniors and seniors from MND with first through sixth graders from disadvantaged backgrounds. Activities include Saturday Socials for grades one through three, fitness programs for students in grades four and five and “Reach for the Stars” leadership development program for sixth graders. Members meet monthly for training and to prepare for the next activity. Membership is by application.

CAPPIES (Critics and Awards Program)
This national program is the Tony Awards of high school theatre. Students serve as critics for high school productions. They attend a minimum of five area high school productions, write and submit their reviews. At the end of the year, critics vote for awards in a variety of categories including best actor, best musical, etc., and a presentation of awards is made at a Gala held each May. Mount Notre Dame is consistently nominated in not only the performance categories, but also for our technical theatre students and our CAPPIE critics. CAPPIES is a wonderful opportunity for students with a strong interest in theatre and writing/journalism. Membership is by application and a writing sample is required.

This group provides student leadership for a variety of service activities open to the entire student body. Some of the activities include: mentoring/tutor programs, Relay for Live, Humane Society of Clermont County and more. Membership is open to any student however, leadership team members are approved by moderators.

Class Activities
Seniors: Commitment to the MND community through bonding events scheduled with each of the other classes and the faculty, leadership in connecting the rest of the school to the SNDdeN mission in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senior Picnic, Senior of the Month, Blood Drive, Dance Marathon for Legacy Scholarships, End-of-Year Senior Celebration event, Baccalaureate Mass, participation in school's Annual Fund Drive, and  Graduation. 
Juniors: Prom, time capsules, selection of SND mission focus for senior year, class T-shirt, and Junior/Senior Breakfast. 
Sophomores:  Class rings, time capsules, Sophomore class bonding experience, and Sophomore retreat days/service projects.

Cougar Dance Program Learn more >>
MND’s championship varsity dance team performs at pep rallies; MND, Moeller and Xavier University basketball games and other community events. The team competes nationally and consistently places in the top-ten in the country. MND’s dance program also offers junior-varsity (6th – 8th grade girls) and youth (3rd – 5th grade girls) teams. The program also offers a camp each summer for girls in kindergarten through eighth grades. Membership for the varsity and junior-varsity teams is by try-out, held each spring. A try-out is not required for the youth team.

Cougar Pride:  This group of trained junior/senior peer ministers assists with Freshman Orientation and introduces freshmen to MND life as homeroom mentors. Membership: by application in the fourth quarter.

CSTAT (Catholic Social Teaching Action Team) Learn more >>
CSTAT is made up of several archdiocesan high schools. The MND group helps to oversee and provide support for social justice-related activities including Unified for UNIFAT, Partners in Peace, Save Darfur and Respect Life. All students are invited to be a part of the planning team. Each club affiliated with CSTAT must send a club representative to the planning meetings.

Cultural Awareness Team
This team strives to find ways to celebrate and raise awareness of the wonderful cultural diversity within our Mount Notre Dame community. Membership: open to all students.

Environmental Club Learn more >>
This club considers issues that impact the environment and provides projects that invite the MND community to be responsible stewards of the earth and its resources. Membership is open to all students.

Equestrian Club Learn more >>
MND’s Equestrian Club takes field trips to collegiate stables and allows students to attend competitions and investigate career options in the equine field. Membership is open to all students.

Freshman Council
Membership is open to all freshmen and activities include orientation, Fall Ball, lunch exchange, freshmen service project, freshmen fan events, time capsules and the freshmen end-of-the-year picnic.

Film Critics
Looks at and/or discusses films and film clips with an eye to composition, entertainment value, stereotypes, and moral implications.

Students are given the opportunity to explore the French culture and cuisine through games, crafts, holiday celebrations and more. French Club is a great way to practice French conversation. MND periodically sponsors trips to France over the summer or during spring break for students wishing to have a French immersion experience. Membership is open to students currently enrolled in French classes and those who have taken French in the past.

GAA (Girl’s Athletic Association)  Learn more >>
This group keeps the Cougar spirit alive! GAA plans pep rallies, spirit nights, State send-offs, big/little sister athletes and more. Membership is open to all students and is mandatory for those who participate in interscholastic sports.

Grace Group
This group is comprised of students who have experienced the death of a parent, brother or sister. The group meets for lunch during the school day six times each year and is a tremendous resource for those who have suffered through similar experiences.

JETS (Junior Engineering and Technical Society)  Learn more >>
The JETS Team program is an annual high school competition challenging students to work collaboratively and apply their math and science knowledge in practical, creative ways to solve real every day challenges.

Latin Club
This club explores Roman culture, practices and cuisine through events and holiday celebrations. The MND Latin Club is a member of the Junior Classical League. The leagues objective is to encourage an interest in and appreciation of the language, literature and culture of ancient Greece and Rome and to impress an understanding of the contributions of these classical cultures. Membership is open to all students currently enrolled in Latin or to those who have taken Latin in the past.

Medicine Show  Learn more >>
Medicine Show is a troupe of students from MND and Moeller High School that promotes substance abuse-free lifestyles by performances in area grade schools and in MND school events as requested.

Mission Commission
This group of students coordinates a number of service projects throughout the year, including the Paper Bag Drive, Christmas Family Project, support for Sisters of Notre Dame missionaries (called “SND Collections”), Canned Food Drive, and fundraisers for mission efforts.

Model UN Learn more >>
This group studies international cooperation and global leadership. Through the Model UN, students become persuasive speakers, writers and critical thinkers. Students participating in this group cultivate an appreciation for the global community around them. Members are required to attend training sessions before participating in Model UN events off-campus. Each year MND’s delegation participates in conferences held at the University of Dayton and the University of Chicago, as well as international conferences. In 2010, MND sent a delegation to the University of Berlin. In 2011, the delegation attended a conference at the University of Genoa in Italy. Mu Alpha Theta (Mathematics Honor Society)
This mathematical honors society empowers young women in the study and enjoyment of mathematics and to encourage creative thought. Membership is by application and members must maintain a 90% cumulative average in math. Click HERE for Math League Contest Dates.

Music Ministry
Students in this group provide Instrumental and vocal leadership for school prayer events; occasional liturgical music for faith communities outside MND.

National Honor Society  Learn more >>
This group provides peer tutoring, exam review, teacher assistance and underwrites activities like Fall Ball and Teacher Appreciation Day. Members must complete a 25-35-hour service plan for each academic year in which she is a member. Members are selected by the faculty council. Criteria for membership include academic average, evidence of leadership, character and service.

Notre Dame Club 
This club focuses on praying for the needs of the community, promoting spiritual development by praying the Rosary, enriching the entire community through prayers and promoting devotion to Our Blessed Mother.

Outdoor Pursuits
MND's Outdoor Pursuits is a club devoted to undertaking outdoor activities. Students may choose to plan and participate in hikes, cookouts, canoeing, camping and similar pursuits.

Parish Council
This group invites students to have parish pride and participate in parish life, Celebrate Our Parishes Days, Terrific Teachers and Angel Educator awards and breakfast, Class Sunshine Girls, Christmas gifts and other recognition for parish ministers and parishes, Valentine’s Day treat for parishes, annual luncheon for pastors/youth ministers.

Respect Life Club
This group of students promotes belief in the sanctity of human life and the inherent dignity of the human person.

Science Club
This group fosters interest in science and encourages young women to pursue careers in the field. The Science Club sponsors speakers, films and other science activities. Membership is open to all students with an interest in science and a willingness to dedicate extra time to club activities.

Ski Club
The Ski Club offers students discount skiing opportunities at Perfect North Slopes, special promotions and the opportunity to become involved in the Perfect North Junior Ski Patrol – a volunteer organization dedicated to serving the skiing public. Membership is open to students who ski ore are interested in learning to ski.

Spanish Club and Spanish Honor Society
This club offers opportunities to explore the experiences and cultures of Spanish-speaking peoples. Membership is open to all students studying Spanish and to those who have taken Spanish in the past. There are also opportunities to be inducted into the National Spanish Honor Society. Eligible students are contacted in the second semester through their Spanish classes.

Student Task Force (STF)
This service-directed group does good things for MND and the community. Activities include working with Ronald McDonald House (sponsoring a room, cooking monthly meals, activities/crafts and games with the children), working at the Reggae Run, helping with Lunch with Santa and Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, coordinating bake sales, and organizing a number of other activities: the pull-tab project, Spare Change Challenge, student auction, and Smoothie sales.

Theatre Program Learn more >>
MND’s award-winning theatre program produces four full-length productions each school year, as well as a summer production that is open to all area high school students. More than 100 students from MND participate in the program both on and off stage. Gentlemen from Moeller, St. Xavier, Purcell Marian and other area schools partner with Mount Notre Dame for the male roles. Most recently, MND receive 10 CAPPIE nominations for its production of Steel Magnolias and won four awards, including Best Play. MND’s Theatre Program also hosts two summer camps for elementary students in grades 3 – 8 each year. Membership is open to all students.

The MND Web Team is a group of students that helps Mr. Forman manage various aspects of MND's website. Students work in groups to help provide photographs and other images for posting on site pages, they help with writing of news articles, and learn some behind-the-scenes work around the development and management of a school website. Worship Commission Learn more >>
This group plans all-school Holy Day Masses, Leadership Prayer service, Grandparents' Appreciation Day, Catholic Schools Week Service, Holy Week Service, and Baccalaureate Mass; Advent & Lenten Reconciliation Services; decorate for seasons of Advent, Lent, and Easter; advises Director of Campus Ministry on morning prayer and assigns prayer leaders; plans Masses/prayer services for other school events as the need arises; and provides ministers for daily Scripture & Communion services. Membership is open to all students and faculty; student members bound by Honor Society member description in school handbook.

Writers Café   Learn more >>
The purpose of this group is to provide a casual, open forum through which students may share their creative writing and discuss it with one another. Some members also hope to pursue the publication of a student literary anthology. Membership is open to all students.

Youth Philanthropy Council (YPC)   Learn more >>
We have been given a gift of $5000 - but we must grant it to a local non-profit!  The members of YPC learn the power of philanthropy and how make the most of charitable dollars we have been entrusted to invest. Through YPC, members become junior philanthropists and are challenged to determine the most worthy non-profits in which to invest the money. YPC members learn the basics of philanthropy, discover how foundations operate, explores a variety of non-profit agencies and award grants to organizations dedicated to improving the community. MND’s YPC is also a model for the city-wide Magnified Giving program (www.magnifiedgiving.org) in which Mr. Forman and YPC student leaders work with other schools to help them develop their own philanthropy councils. Membership is by application to all grade levels and only a limited number of positions are available.

L.I.F.E. (Living in Faith Experiences)
This faith-sharing youth group meets every other Thursday evening at Moeller High School in the Pastoral Ministry office. Different discussion topics are presented and activities are planned. Moeller Cheerleading
