Audition Information

Audition Dates

June 3, 4, 6 and 7 from 6 - 9 PM.  You only need to be at auditions one date.

For Auditions

Please prepare a song to sing for us from a musical (and bring music if you can)
and to dress comfortably
(there will be a dance section to the audition). 
Also at the audition you will be asked to read from the script.

Who can Audition?

Any student who will be in ANY high school during the 2012-2013 school year
or who graduated in 2012 are eligible to audition.   
So if you are going to be a freshman in 2012-2013 or of you graduated in 2012,
you are welcome to audition.

Cast List/First Rehearsal

The cast list will be sent out electronically by June 8 with the
first rehearsal being on June 10.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals will take place on Mon, Wed, Thurs and Sun from 6-9 PM.
All cast members will not have to be at every rehearsal each week (except if cast as Elle). 
Most cast members will be at rehearsal 2-3 times a week until we start running the show. 
Cast members will receive a detailed schedule at the first rehearsal.

Fee

The fee for Legally Blonde will be $50.00. 
This which includes food during tech week and your costume.  
It will be due at the first rehearsal.
A company t-shirt and DVD of the performance will made available at a separate cost. 
If there is a problem with the fee, please let us know and we can go over some options. 
We do not want to have to deny anyone who wants to participate
because of a financial hardship.  We will work something out!

Conflicts

We know that folks plan on summer vacations during the summer. 
We are always happy to work around any conflicts with our rehearsal schedule
as long as we know about them at the time of auditioning.  T
