A Notre Dame Learning Community

Learn, Live, Lead & Serve

Spirituality

Overflowing with graces and blessings is an apt description of MND, its students, families and teachers. All those involved in ministry and service are privileged to proclaim God's goodness every day!

MND expresses its strong Catholic identity in a three-faceted approach to spiritual development:

  • Communion - prayer, sacraments, and parish relationships
  • Contemplation - retreats
  • Compassion - service to the community

Rich in Tradition

Mount Notre Dame shares the responsibility of the spiritual development of our students with their families and their parishes. The entire MND experience – academics, religious opportunities, co-curriculars and social events all reflect our Catholic heritage and our foundation in the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.

Forward in Vision
Young women who are students here now will eventually take the gospel with them into the professional worlds of science, business, entrepreneurship, education, international relations and beyond. Through ministry and service, these young women have growth opportunities to become world citizens who are unabashedly faithful believers as they live out what is most good and true in the human spirit.

Rooted in Parish
A characteristic that sets MND apart from other Catholic high schools is the strong ties we maintain with our parishes. MND students come from nearly 50 parishes. Members of MND’s Parish Partners work to strengthen the relationship between MND and its parishes and encourage students to be involved in parish life.
