Campaign for the Future
We Are Growing - Continue the Tradition
EXPANSION
Academic Space - Additional space is needed to accommodate 21st century academic offerings.
Admissions/Recruiting Center - This addition will provide easily accessible and expanded administrative space for prospective parents and students.
The Chapel - MND’s Chapel is a visible statement of our Catholic identity. To emphasize our commitment, the Chapel needs to be enhanced and renovated.
College Counseling and Guidance Center - Centrally located and visible, this space will provide a greater emphasis on college counseling and the guidance experience. Both one-on-one and group gathering spaces will be provided.
Science Facilities - The addition will provide state-of-the-art science facilities for the largest growing segment of the school’s academic offerings.
Small-Group Learning Spaces - Non-classroom learning space is critical since the school has adopted a one-to-one Tablet PC learning environment.
Student Services Center - An MND education includes academic, spiritual, service and extra-curricular experiences. Current meeting space is minimal.
RENOVATIONS
Plans are to renovate fully the 46 year-old facility. The proposed renovations include electrical upgrades, a new boiler, air conditioning and cosmetic changes to the exterior such as window replacement and courtyard renovations. The purchase of surrounding properties for future expansion of the facility is also planned.
ATHLETIC FACILITIES
New tennis courts were created in 2009. Plans are to build an athletic facility for field hockey, soccer and lacrosse on the MND campus.
