Awards & Scholarships

Billiart Scholar Program Scholarship
This academic program is named after Julie Billiart, the foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and honors our brightest students with academic and experiential learning opportunities and a monetary scholarship.  Invitation to this program is based on performance on the High School Placement Test (HSPT) and a review of the applicant’s academic records.  Accepting the invitation to be a Billiart Scholar includes enrolling in Honors English, Honors Math, Honors Biology, and AP Human Geography – the core coursework that will engage these academically talented students as they begin high school.  Additionally, for elective courses, students are expected to enter at the recommended level for each course.

MND is hosting a Billiart Scholar Program virtual information session on Monday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 PM.  Interested prospective parents and students are invited to join this Zoom webinar to learn more about this program.  Mr. Ben Hunt, Assistant Principal for Academic Development, Ms. Alicia Ausere, Billiart Scholar Program Coordinator, and a small panel of students and alumnae who will speak about their experiences in this unique MND academic program. Tuition Assistance Options
Mount Notre Dame is committed to partnering with families to help them realize their desire for an MND education.  More than one million dollars is awarded annually through the support of generous benefactors.  Tuition assistance is provided for many of our families through financial aid and named scholarships.

Financial Aid
A FACTS Student Aid Form must be completed to be eligible for MND Tuition Assistance (financial aid).  FACTS, a third-party vendor, evaluates all applications and establishes each family’s financial need.  MND uses this information to determine tuition assistance awards amounts for qualifying families.  There is a $30 fee payable to FACTS when completing the application. The priority deadline for financial aid is November 21, 2022.  Parents are notified of awards, grants and scholarships in the mid-January admissions mailing.  Beginning in early September, the FACTS application for the 2023-2024 school year will be available at https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3XDKK.

If you have questions regarding financial aid, please contact Diane Barney, Director of Finance,  at dbarney@mndhs.org or 513.821.3044 x 104.  Note:  The FACTS application can be converted to Spanish by clicking Espanol in the top right-hand corner of the application.  Se puede convertir al español la solicitud FACTS por hacer clic en <Español> ubicado en la esquina a la derecha de la solicitud.

SNDdeN Endowed Scholarships
These renewable scholarships have been made possible by the generous support of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, our largest benefactor. Special consideration is given to applicants demonstrating financial need and a keen desire to attend MND.  A completed and qualifying FACTS application is the only requirement.

Named Scholarships
Through the generosity of our benefactors, MND offers several need-based scholarships for incoming freshmen. To be considered for our named scholarships, please complete the application for admission by November 21.

Ohio EdChoice Scholarship

For additional information contact MND’s Admissions Office and/or the Ohio Department of Education EdChoice website.
