The High School Entrance and Placement Test for those eighth graders interested in attending a
Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is Saturday, November 19, 2022.
HSPT Prep Course
Under the direction of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Catholic high schools will be administering the traditional High School Placement Test (HSPT) as the high school entrance/placement assessment in November 2022 to all interested eighth grade students who are considering the possibility of attending an area Catholic high school. Mount Notre Dame is excited to once again offer this test prep program to eighth grade girls this summer and fall.
Girls entering 8th Grade (in August 2022)
Two of MND’s stellar faculty will teach eighth grade girls how to be more confident and prepared for the High School Placement Test (HSPT). During the four-day collaborative course, students will review the test design, learn general standardized test-taking strategies, and explore the test content in an interactive, energetic classroom environment. Following three days of instruction, students will take a full-length graded practice test on the fourth day of the camp. Students and parents will receive daily updates, and an analysis of practice test results will be provided after the test has been scored. Students must bring a smart phone or Wi-Fi enabled tablet or computer as the camp will utilize interactive websites and tools. Fee includes textbook and MND spirit gear. Note: This in an in-person, on-campus course. Summer and Fall camps also include a FREE Refresher Course on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 4 – 6 PM (available to any student who completed an HSPT Prep Class at MND).
