The St. Julie Billiart Catholic Leadership Award recognizes both an alumna of MND and a graduating senior who have demonstrated a deep personal commitment to Jesus Christ through contributions to the spiritual life of the MND community, as well as through their active participation in the life of their parishes and service in the broader community. This year, we are thrilled to announce Erin DeNicola Flege ’99 and Caroline Jennings ’25 as our esteemed recipients. Erin is a devoted wife, loving mom of eight, active coach (including MND’s Cross Country and Track teams) and active parishioner of Saint Margaret of York where she has led and grown the Respect for Life Ministry. Erin truly radiates kindness and compassion while fiercely advocating for the dignity of every human life. Speaking to the assembly at MND today, Erin eloquently connected Catholic leadership to the “Yes” that our Blessed Mother accepted to usher in the salvation of the world. Caroline, an Extraordinary Minister of communion at Crescent Family of Parishes, models what it means to live with eyes fixed on God. Radiating a deep awareness of others, she models what it means to walk with Christ in everyday life. While at MND, she has served as a leader for Morning Scripture service and lead various ministries and Campus Ministry activities. This year, she served as a Kairos leader and walked alongside her peers with much grace and compassion. Congratulations to Erin and Caroline for this incredible honor!
