PEACE & JUSTICE

Faith Comes Alive Through Action

Students are formed to be leaders who promote justice, unity, and respect for all people and creation. Through clubs, service, and advocacy, they celebrate diversity, protect life, and care for our common home – living out the Gospel and the Hallmarks of a Notre Dame learning community.

Rooted in the vision of St. Julie Billiart, our Peace & Justice initiatives empower students to live the Gospel by honoring the dignity of each person and working toward a more just and compassionate world.

Multicultural Ministry
In partnership with the Multicultural Student Union (MSU), this ministry provides a welcoming space for all students to celebrate the rich diversity of our school community.  We honor cultural heritage and history months, share stories, and learn from one another’s experiences. Through these connections, students build friendships, deepen understanding, and foster a spirit of respect that reflects the dignity of every person created in God’s image.

Respect for Life
This group is dedicated to recognizing the beauty and value of every human life, from conception to natural death. Students engage in awareness campaigns, service projects, and advocacy efforts that witness to the Church’s pro-life teaching. Through prayer, reflection, and action, members grow as compassionate leaders who stand for the dignity of all people.

Earth Action Team
Inspired by Laudato Si’ and the call to care for God’s creation, this team promotes environmental awareness and stewardship. Students learn about conservation and ecological issues, participate in hands-on projects like gardening and recycling, and take part in field trips that highlight the importance of protecting the earth. Together, they act as caretakers of our common home.
