COMMUNITY SERVICE
Serve, Grow, Impact
Community Service is an integral part of the Mount Notre Dame experience. Over the course of four years, each student gives of herself in many ways – through retreats, classes, service days, and community projects. We cultivate in students a genuine love for serving others, and they demonstrate great joy in sharing God’s goodness with others.

MND’s Community Service Programs prioritize student leadership and offer a variety of different opportunities including partnerships with local schools and community centers, local community service agencies, international non-profits, and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. Students can connect with programs that work with children, the poor, the elderly, and more! Whether they’re looking for a group that meets weekly or monthly or even for once-a-year opportunities, Cougars connect with the programs that are right for them.
Community service through MND is not confined to our campus or even to our city. Students have opportunities for out-of-state service immersion trips and international immersion experiences. These trips take students out of their comfort zones helping to make their hearts, as St. Julie Billiart said, ‘as wide as the world.’
