It is with great joy that I am pleased to announce the appointment of Maria Miller as Mount Notre Dame’s new Director of Development.
Maria brings more than 30 years of exceptional leadership in advancement, fundraising, and donor relations, and her experience will be an extraordinary gift to our community. Throughout her distinguished career, she has helped mission-driven organizations grow, thrive, and deepen relationships with those who believe in their work.
Most recently, Maria served as Vice President of Donor Relations at SPCA Cincinnati, where she provided strategic leadership across all operating revenue streams. Under her leadership, SPCA Cincinnati experienced meaningful growth that will benefit its mission for years to come.
Before that, Maria spent more than 15 years with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, holding senior national leadership roles and stewarding high-level corporate partnerships. Her work helped drive sustained double-digit revenue growth and supported record-setting national campaigns.
What excites me most about Maria’s leadership is not only her proven expertise, but her deep commitment to relationship-building and mission-centered work. She understands that philanthropy is about partnership, trust, and shared belief in what is possible.
In her role as Director of Development, Maria will lead Mount Notre Dame’s advancement efforts, including major gifts, annual giving, stewardship, and donor engagement—supporting our mission to educate and empower young women to learn, live, lead, and serve.
“I am honored to join the Mount Notre Dame community,” Maria shared. “Together, I am confident we can continue to create an environment where young women are empowered to transform the world.”
Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Public Communication from Bowling Green State University and brings a lifelong dedication to service, volunteerism, and leadership.
Please join us in warmly welcoming Maria Miller to Mount Notre Dame. We are grateful for her leadership and excited for the future we will build together in support of our students, our mission, and the generations of young women yet to come.
